Where the long-distance trains begin, under one great roof.

Mumbai Central is two stations side by side: the suburban platforms, and the hall of the Western Railway terminus, opened in 1930, where trains leave for Gujarat, Rajasthan and Delhi. Across the road is the cinema that has run one film for three decades. Fast locals stop here, which makes it the quickest way into this part of town.
