A dargah, a church and the edge of the island city.
Mahim was one of the seven islands, and it still feels like its own town. The dargah of the 15th-century saint Makhdoom Ali Mahimi is here, and so is St. Michael's, where people of every faith queue for the Wednesday novena. North of the creek, the suburbs begin.
