The green suburb: a forest, a dairy and a film studio behind the station.
Goregaon looks like any other suburb from the platform. Go east and the city thins into Aarey, a dairy colony laid out in 1949 whose grassland and forest run all the way to the national park. Beyond it, in the hills, is Film City, where much of Hindi cinema and television is made.
